The health reform legislation has been pushed onto the back-burner recently. Not to worry as action will pick up significantly when the Supreme Court issues its decision on whether or not the individual mandate, among other components, are unconstitutional. The end of June cannot get here soon enough for many policy wonks and those in the business community who have put hiring and other decisions on hold.
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to be a guest on a couple of segments on the Tom Becka radio program in Omaha, Nebraska, discussing the impact of the Affordable Care Act on small businesses and individuals. I also touched on the Supreme Court arguments as well as a few of the surprising things I have found in the legislation as I go through it for a second time.
