Assessing the Fall of 2013

We have been fortunate to have a pretty mild fall here in the heartland, however, our friends in Washington, DC are operating in a frosty environment.  Nothing seems to be working correctly and one guest nailed it when he referred to it as “hyper-partisan.” We will have to move beyond politics and have an adult conversation about what is really happening before anything can be fixed.
